Windows Office 2007 Beta. Initial Thoughts

In summary… Look and feel, cool. Menus… Not so cool.

It may take some time to get used to the menus. But I am eager to find all the new features. I’ve just discovered the blog posting feature – which seems pretty slick. I dug through the awkward menus and found the NEW->NEW BLOG ENTRY option. It asked me what provider I used, I clicked on Blogger, then it asked for me username and password, then it asked me to pick which blog I wanted to post to… Did that. Now here I am typing. Pretty sweet.

So, if I had one initial “should have” for Office 2007, it would be the option of a “classic menu”, otherwise , pretty cool.

Now I’ll click on the publish button and see what happens.
