Browsers - the people - are a fickle lot

I use Firefox as my default browser. Based on news reports and my own web stats for this site (http://www.thirdsite.com/), my sidekick's site (http://www.purehope.com/) and our "other" site (http://www.plagiarized.com/), about 30% of visitors now use Firefox...
Here's the problem. Most people hate Microsoft because it is fashionable to hate Microsoft. When asked to articulate their issues with Microsoft... They can't. They are like an anti-globalisation protester. No idea whatsoever. "It's the corporations - Man...."
Most of the cool stuff on the WWW depends on wizzy plugins and addons to Internet Explorer. Firefox is a "slim client". Low on plugins and addons. When the masses come to understand that they will need to install extra stuff to get their retarded online games to work - they'll scurry back to IE.
If you know what you're doing... or if you don't know what you're doing and really couldn't care less about fancy features of the world wide web... Then Firefox is for you. Otherwise - don't complicate your life. Stick to Internet Explorer and your collection of downloaded smileys.
